C3/25/00191R]]\n| rowpan=\"2\" |George IV, by the grace of God, etc, to all men, etc. Since John Forrest, at the circuit of justice held at Stirling in the spring of the year of the Lord 1823, prosecuted for judgment in the extraction of a corpse from the churchyard of Stirling, and the sentence of proscription was declared upon him not presenting himself on the day of the cause of the acknowledgment; we, in consideration of these same circumstances having been presented to us favourably, in favour of the said John Forrest and of his binding for the same offence, and from our royal grace and favour we have remised, indemnified and pardoned, just as we by these presents remise, indemnify and pardon, the said John Forrest, not only of the before-said crime, but also of the sentence of proscription.\n\nIn testimony of which matter, etc, at our hall at Carlton House on the 29th day of the month of June in the year of the lord 1824 and in the fifth year of our reign.
