David James FORREST was born on 4th April 1842 and baptised on 13th May 1842 at St Cuthbert's, Edinburgh[1]. He was the first son of John FORREST and Jessie Bathgate WATSON.
He died on 9th April 1876 at Monkton House in Musselborough after suffering from phthisis (tuberculosis) for 18 months[2][3][4]
