George Francis FORREST was born on 11th Aug 1877 in Longdon, Worcestershire[1]. He was the third child of John FORREST and Eveline RODGER.
He was educated at Uppingham School, Uppingham, Rutland[2].
In 1910 he purchased Pegglesworth Estate, near Dowdeswell, Gloucestershire from his Uncle Charles Macintosh RODGER’s executors . The estate had been enlarged by Charles Macintosh Rodger to include a number of farms totalling 1,034 acres[3].
George Francis died on 28th Dec 1914 from Pulmonary Tuberculosis[4] and was buried on 31st Dec 1914 at St Peter’s Church, Leckhampton, Gloucestershire.
